soldier-of-thanatos:

And to think that the agent had witnessed everything the universe had to offer- well for once he was wrong. “Then you should take a seat because I will have a plethora of questions.” A real live alien…what were the chances? Behind the mask- the soldier was teaming with curiosity and wonder at this mysterious being. “What planet do you come from- are your customs similar to that of Earth’s and do you have any special abilities?”

For just a brief moment does the justicar’s face light up, a humble smile contorting itself upon her features all the while. The man’s confoundment practically radiates from him and it has been some time since the last instance in which she was required to speak extensively of her people. She’s nearing the end of her lifespan, and still it can safely be said that the sensation of witnessing it never gets old.
When she speaks again, she maintains a collected demeanor; “The asari homeworld is known as Thessia–but, to date, there are twenty-one planets who serve as home to asari colonies. As you will find with any other foreign culture, our customs are both comparable to and vastly differing from those observed by your people.” And then there is a pause.

A rippling barrier of navy blue sheathes the slender body of the alien, and in just moments the same phenomena becomes visible around the well armed stranger. She can easily lift him into the air or toss him aside or both—but she harbors no ill-will for the man and she certainly has no wish for his first meeting with an extraterrestrial to be a memory that bears negative connotation. Instead the justicar concentrates, and uses her biotics to give a firm tug to the straps and various tactical pouches adorning his suit. It’s enough to get the point across, she’s sure.
“All asari are born with biotic abilities, but not all choose to work with and grow such talents. I have spent many human lifespans learning, training, and growing. As a servant of the Code, it is imperative that my biotic capabilities are among the most powerful of my people. Most asari you meet–if you meet any more–will not likely possess strength as extensive as my own.”
